Fred Argir's new album, Unglued, is a must-own for fans of Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, and Mike Ness' solo work. Over 14 tracks, Argir combines alt-rock guitar hooks with mature songwriting and vocals that are clean and sharp without sacrificing any of Argir's trademark grit. In fact, "clean and sharp" are descriptors that apply to this album as a whole; one of the many triumphs of Unglued is its clarity, both musically and sonically.

Concert to End Homelessness April 29th, 2017

Fred will be performing at HONOR's Concert to End Homelessness on April 29, 2017 at the Elks Lodge in Greenwood Lake, NY.  In addition to Fred, the all-day concert will feature Sammy Cannillo, Wood Hippie, Jeremy Torres, and Don Lowe.

HONOR (Helping Others Needing Our Resources) is an Orange County, NY-based outreach organization that provides meals, housing, and other services for people combating chemical dependency, in need of temporary/transitional housing, or requiring crisis intervention.

Lending his talents to events like these means a lot to Fred, whose Midwestern upbringing fostered  a community spirit that exists in him to this day.  He was delighted when HONOR reached out to him, and fully supports their dedication to helping homeless and at-risk residents of Orange County.

We're very happy to announce that Fred has signed with Fieldhouse/BMG!  Fred is very excited about the new creative prospects this signing opens up for him.

Fieldhouse is a division of BMG that specializes in providing original music for film and television soundtracks.  It's a great opportunity for a studio workhorse like Fred, whose music now has a new audience of music supervisors, editors, directors, and advertising agencies.
